Job Title: Sr. Designer

Location: Costa Mesa, CA
Job Summary: Project 7 is currently looking for a Senior Designer to join a high-energy design team in their Orange County headquarters. The ideal candidate has 6+ years of experience in interactive and user interface design and a passion for creativity. Individual must be able to work independently, as well as collaboratively, with the design team, product managers, clients, and with other departments. Individual must be a creative thinker, detail-oriented, confident and able to express ideas in an articulate, well thought-out manner. Ability to multi-task and prioritize deadlines is a must.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Package, POS, Interactive and Web design in support of Project 7’s brand & marketing efforts. They will work on a growing in-house creative team.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- BA or BFA degree in Graphic Design preferred
- Minimum 6+ years professional design experience
- Must have excellent typographic and conceptual design skills; a packaging or apparel portfolio is required
- Thorough knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
- Solid user interface design skills
- Solid presentation skills
- Understanding of information architecture
- Macintosh OSX proficiency required
- Leadership & Project management experience a plus
- E-Commerce experience a plus
- Illustration skills a plus
- Print experience a plus
- Flash experience a plus
- Packaging Experience required
