A Project 7 Surfboard

When we moved into our Costa Mesa offices earlier this year, we realized we needed some authentic Southern California decor. So we called up Amanda Phelps at RESURFACE Art and asked her to create a surfboard for Project 7.

If you are not familiar with Amanda or RESURFACE Art, Amanda creates custom art on vintage surfboards for clean water.

RESURFACE combines design, surfing and innovation to create custom art on vintage surfboards while giving back to the greater good through a partnership with World Vision. Each surfboard is a hand-painted, one-of-a-kind piece of artwork that is customized to fit your personal style. When you invest in a RESURFACE surfboard, you are helping to provide clean water to an African community in need.

We love RESURFACE and that Amanda has found a way to use her incredible talent to make beautiful art and help the world!

She created this video so you can watch the Project 7 surfboard come to life.

I was recently asked to paint a surfboard for a cause-related company called Project 7. Everything you buy from them, including things like coffee and gum, they donate back towards one of their 7 areas of need. They understand the immense weight of social injustice and are taking huge strides in making a global impact. Thank you Tyler and Lindsay for bringing me into your family. Keep giving!
